As many of you must have heard by now, the much loved actor and comedian Robin Williams has died in his home earlier today by assumed suicide after battling severe depression. He was a common face in my life growing up (as for many) and brought much happiness. I will miss him.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the terrible news this morning. He was such a fine actor!
I always remember his role as Peter Pan in 'Hook'!
Now the line "It's not your fault" from 'Good Will Hunting' becomes another serious meaning. Depression is among the world's worst illnesses.
You will always be remembered, Robin. Rest in Peace.

NANUU NANUU!!

This breaks my heart!! I remember how exciting it was to see "Mork and Mindy's house" in Boulder, CO!

 Such a shame he didn't know/couldn't feel how loved he was!

My prayer is that he knows NOW!!!

If you guys want to spend some time with Robin there is a small movie collection on Netflix.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite film; I always loved him in Bicentennial Man and The Birdcage and of course Mrs. Doubtfire. I also remember seeing him in reruns of Mork and Mindy with my mother and those were such a riot.

I normally don't care about celebrities, even when they die. Robin Williams, however, was such a kind and caring man (not to mention a great actor). He was open with his fans and always tried to help those in need through charities and such. I am genuinely saddened by death. He will always be remembered.

His talent as an actor above being a comedian is very overlooked I think. He was a phenomenal dramatic actor as well as a comedic one.

 I am not much of a fan of particular celebrities either, but I do appreciate talent. I remember his GREEN ACRES Space Shuttle song when the 1st flight launched after the CHALLENGER disaster had put the program on hold.

RIP Robin.
