anime sols shutdown?

Anime sols just announced on Facebook that they will shut down operations in may, and no more projects will be started. I hope this is a sick April fools joke (Tsuki Baka), it very well might be real. I was hoping for Blackjack sets 3 and 4!

A huge depressing chapter of my life finally closes. But thankfully, I think this'll open the door to better things. For one, Dororo supporters got an email informing us that another distributor will release all of Dororo after seeing the support that was given to the first half on Anime Sols! And Animeigo is soon going to crowdfund a bunch of classic anime on Kickstarter, so maybe...

Idk if this is a prank or not. I hope it is; that seems kind of a sad way to go. They're still fairly young yet...
Of course, it's been a few days, and it hasn't changed; but they haven't made any announcements since then... If it's true, then they picked some of the worst possible timing ever conceived for a serious announcement.

I'm very, very disappointed but sadly not surprised. They never seemed to catch on the way they would've had to in order to survive.

The Animeigo thing is way better if it's gonna work out but if only animesols had released everything from 2004 Black Jack by now ...

I just now ordered a 4 disc set of JLV with Eng subs DORORO. Am I the last one to learn of this?
