Skunk in Ludwig B. manga

I've seen the manga from the site tezukaosamu.net/jp and here Skunk as a little cute thief when he was a child.



But that part confused me,an another child has a pointed nose is killed,or just injured but no dead,but Frantz,Ludwig's nemesis! (little Skunk,with a pointed nose??? or one of Skunk's little friend?)Skunk has always a rounded nose.
For many who knows this manga, tells me the true plz??

I've never seen Tezuka's Ludwig B. manga before. I don't know if it was ever translated from the Japanese. It is likely that the Skunk character, being part of Tezuka's "Star System" was reused in a different role, and maybe he changed some of the character's features a bit. Lamp for example was used in a very different role in the "Adolph" mangas.
