Heya Diehard,
I can see how the cupcakes might seem mysterious at first, but allow me to shed some light, if I may.The beauty of the symbolism of the cupcakes lies in it's simplicity. It's not quite as abstract as you might think.
In a literal sense, cupcakes represent sweetness. In a metaphorical sense, they represent an appreciation and respect for... ah, who am I kidding? Let them sit out for a couple of weeks, they harden just enough to use as weapons. Throw 'em at your neighbor, your co-workers, or out your car window. Who's gonna tell on you? :d evil:
I hope this unlocks the mystery of the cupcakes, and you're able to view and appreciate Unhurdof's entry with new eyes.
They'll be no advocating safety by promoting cupcakes however.

We're lacking players these days for this game. I'd love to play myself, but I just won't have the time until a few more weeks (at least). 
This is definitely the most time consuming game we have.
Pick a new picture which inspires you and have fun with it. You always come up with very interesting ideas!
