You can say the same about the NYC firemen that went into the WTC on 9/11.

The Robots Sent Into Fukushima Have "Died"
By Reuters On 3/9/16 at 10:15 PM
(Reuters) - The robots sent in to find highly radioactive fuel at Fukushima's nuclear reactors have “died”: a subterranean "ice wall" around the crippled plant meant to stop groundwater from becoming contaminated has yet to be finished. And authorities still don’t know how to dispose of highly radioactive water stored in an ever mounting number of tanks around the site.

Interesting links, Cybotron. I started reading on Chernobyl a few years ago and I've been very interested on the effects of radiation accidents. In Pypriat (the town where the Chernobyl meltdown occurred) wildlife is now thriving because of the lack of human habitation. Some robots also died during the initial attempt of putting out the fire that started due to the explosion. Humans took over and the result of this was devasting on their health.
I just recently ordered a book on Amazon called: A Slow Death: 83 Days of Radiation Sickness. This book is a documentary on the Tokaimura criticality accident that occurred in 1999. It should be a great read and I've been looking to buy this book at a reasonable price for months!

This is important and should be seen...
