Hey all. I'm attempting to sub the second half of the 03 Astro Boy anime (25-50) using the Japanese subtitles. So far, I've finished episodes 25 and 26. Thought I would share them with those of you who have access to the Japanese episodes. I'll be posting the subtitles in this thread as I go, so keep an eye out.
Warning: I'm not 100% fluent in Japanese, so there may be an error here and there. If you notice an issue, just let me know.
Episode 26 doesn't have subtitles for the opening and ending credits.

I could add the code for the openings and endings to each subtitle file, since I have a good understanding of subtitle editing but lack the experience with Japanese to be much help with the bulk of the translations.

You can go ahead and do that then
Re: Pushmipullu's 2003 Astro Boy Subs
I just realized the problem with my logic in that... I forgot that episodes 26-48 have a different opening and ending from episodes 1-25, 49, and 50. Oh well, I'll still see what I can do and if nothing else add romaji subs for those sequences. I sure did space out on that, though.

Found a translation checker for the episodes, so I should be able to put them out faster now.

Here's Episode 27 guys. Sorry it took so darn long. >.<
Re: Pushmipullu's 2003 Astro Boy Subs
Thanks!
Looks like there are a few Japanese lines in it. I'm guessing they're onomatopoeia?
Dialogue: 0,0:19:14.38,0:19:16.09,Default,,0,0,0,,ぁつ ぉつ ぁぁつ
is where Higeoyaji falls down the scrap heap and says "ah! ooh! ugh!"
Also when I dug up a Japanese episode to test your subtitles, I discovered I have .srt files for episodes 27 to 50. I think I pulled them from a Chinese bootleg edition many years ago. They're in Engrish, but let me know if they'd be any use to you.

Re: Pushmipullu's 2003 Astro Boy Subs
Are those .srt files a different translation from the usual Hong Kong subtitles, DrFrag? Sounds possible if they only range from 27-50 since the HK subs went from 25-50. If they are a different set, then even if they're funny translations they might be compared with the HK subs to see what's the same and what's different.
Also, thanks for the new subs, Pushimpullu!

Ugh, I forgot to delete those. Sorry. >.<
I'm actually gonna go back and redo 25-27, since there are a bunch of stupid mistakes in those.
