GREAT new pictures, it's been forever (like four years!?) since we first started hearing about this though. Is it really releasing? Did they release any news along with those photos.

It is still planned to be released, but there is no release date yet. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a video yet of what was talked about during the conference.

I assume that Shibuya Productions will upload the concept artwork/screenshots online somewhere in the next week. They might share a tidbit or two of info when that happens.

I have wondered about what happened with the Astro Boy reboot now, considering it's 2019... I would love to see it on TV finished and airing!

Astro Boy Reboot is still in development, but there's not been any news on it since new concept artwork was revealed in March 2019 which you can see in this post:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8866&start=680#p245344

The same event where this was revealed, MAGIC, was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid pandemic, so we will likely not see anything new for a while.

In short, Astro Boy Reboot is in development hell. It will likely be released one day, but we will have to continue waiting a while.
