Hey, long time no see.. (Been about 3 months)

Dang, the only problem I see with the movie is that they will probably make it overly childish... Even the trailer seems a bit weird. It reminds me of what they did to Ponyo; I'm a huge fan of Miyazaki's films and actually thought about seeing Ponyo in theaters, but it would feel a bit weird surrounded by many young children who don't even understand the true meaning behind it...

Having bought all four issues, I can say...no. But what I've read seems very different from some of the things in the movie, so I'm sure the comic version is a simplified one. Astro talks like a snot in some places of the comic, which I'm sure wasn't always there.

okay i just got the astro boy the movie prequel comic 1 underground and its pretty good. not like tezuka-san's but still nice!^^ the art is good the coloring nice and they show and art gallery in the back. oh and i got and astro boy the movie kids activity sticker book too!^^ its super cute!^^
